From New York, and Edinburgh to Belfast – we love to be able to celebrate our passion and skill through our own little country. Thanks to the Ulster-Scots Agency for another terrific day!

Thanks as always for the invite for our lead, Paula to act as Senior Drum Major and give the commands to the salute to the chieftain Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tracy Kelly at the end of the parade! It’s such a lovely day to celebrate our culture, heritage and musical community.

Whist we had a few of our Elite team away getting spoilt to recognise their World Champion title wins – we were joined with some of The Force Minis and other Drum Majors who joined the parade from various bands/classes and were just a pleasure to parade alongside! 🤩

The last one did so well, we are now the Hosts of our very own!!

🎅Ho ho ho, craft enthusiasts and holiday helpers! After the smashing success of our craft stall last week, The Force, Display Team of Champion Drum Majors are back with this jolly Christmas Craft Fair – all as a heartfelt fundraiser to keep the rhythm marching strong! Join us for handmade treasures, yummy bakes & cakes, steaming tea/coffee, and music that’ll have you jingling all the way. 🎁🍪🎶🥁🧸

Over last week, Paula and Kathy attended the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as special guests of the Cast and Production Director on what was their special 75th celebratory year! What an evening, with a tour of the castle, meet and greet of performers and VIP’s, drinks reception and we enjoyed the Big Blow of the Massed Pipes and Drums….

Piping Live was a huge success.

The Force Exhibition had 7x acts, including guests from Gordon’s School Pipes and Drums with Iona on Pipes, Ash on Drums and Lucy (Paula’s Drum Major scholar as Guest Drum Major ), Jack Goudreau as Guest Drum Major and Hannah Todd on Tenor. We were so pleased that ‘Our Thea’ could dance today as The Force Dancer to Skerryvore’s Take My Hand…

The Force Mini’s absolutely stole the show! 3x 11 year olds taking centre stage at Piping Live was Epic!!!

My elite team never disappoint and showcased our best selves in The Force Tartan sponsored by Harris Kilt Company.

Whilst the elite team are away in Canada, one of our elite members is staying back to graduate 🎓.
Kara has been a significant help behind the scenes standing in for Kathy during rehearsals and we will miss her not with us. With that said she will be kept busy as she is leading two of our local events while we are absent.

Firstly to our sponsors and suppliers who have existed right from the start Harris Kilt Company and A1 Embroidery & Printing. We are so thankful to have so many in support of what we do – and make us look good in the process! 😍 All our printed and embroidered kit has been supplied by A1 for this gig and we are so grateful for their sponsorship. 🙌

Thanks also to our Canada Team, whether a performer, a helper at rehearsal standing in – making tea, carrying music and doing our drone footage, the admin team for their countless hours on flights but last but no means least – we are thankful for Paula. Her determination to do things right and the countless hours she has put in behind the scenes has been a huge commitment and a testament to the incredible work she is doing!
