KIDS WITH CANCER EVENT 2024 – THE FORCE!!

A special choreographed piece for this special event.

We had the BBC following us for this event which was brilliant, but that also came with a slight bit of pressure as we are all perfectionists!

12 minutes of mostly synchronized work from Paula, Abigail and Kara with our added touch of Highland and Irish dancers, Thea and Gracie. We loved pulling this one together!

Now for the next one in a few weeks time! 🎶👌

Thank you Brian Hasson for this full version of The Force routine.

KIDS WITH CANCER 2024!!

A huge Thank You to Gary Smyth and Alexis from A1 Embroidery & Printing for inviting The Force to perform at the wonderful Kids with Cancer event held in The Royal Hotel Cookstown for The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity on Saturday 23 March 2024. It was such a pleasure to perform at this prestigious event to help raise fantastic funds for this special unit.

The team on the evening was led by Paula who worked effortlessly hard behind the scenes to produce the spectacle it was, with her trusted team of Abigail and Kara, Thea and Gracie. Without all their hard work, contribution and time this wouldn’t exist. Cheers to them! 🤩

Also a special mention to Harris Kilt Company for again gifting the hire of the kilts for the team to perform in. As the drum majors display was synchronized these matching kilts along with The Force merchandise t-shirts from suppliers (A1 Embroidery) finish the polished look of the team.

A final thank you to The Big Rab Show and Brian Hasson for their footage on the evening and the constant support in all that we do.

PROUD!!!!

Beyond excited for what we produced on Saturday 23rd March! The choreography was time consuming, but worth every inch of it.

The BBC followed us to the event and my team excelled under pressure, they showcased how good they truly are and why they are the elite. Again, PROUD!!

Big cheer to our accompanying dancers Thea Kinley (Highland Dancer) and Gracie Evans (Irish Dancer), who worked together as a wee team and choreographed their piece and I’m so proud of them for making their mark on our display and knocking it out of the park! Such an asset to The Force 🤩🤩🤩🤩

KIDS WITH CANCER CHARITY EVENT!!

I met with Gary Smyth tonight in preparation for the ‘Kids with Cancer’ charity event which is taking place on Saturday 23 March 2024, in The Royal Hotel Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

To hear of the amount of money this event has raised thus far for kids with Cancer is phenomenal and a credit to Gary and his team. 🙌🙌

The Force are delighted to be asked to contribute to this evening and plans have already started for what will be an epic evening! 🎶🥰

Kara mixing it with the wonderful André Rieu on stage!!

This right here! 🙌

Kara has been a bit of a regular in the spotlight, which is so richly deserved. Although we missed her for our gig at the Raphoe Ulster-Scot Heritage Day, we very much LOVED that she was mixing it with the wonderful André Rieu on stage in Glasgow and performing in front of 18,000 people across both nights!

Kara shared the below video after the Friday Night performance and was delighted to be able to showcase her talent as André asked for a mini display to see the current 2022 Senior World Champion in action.

Look at this, this is how displays are done on the World stage! WOW! 🎶🤩

Paula, Director of The Force said she was extremely proud of Kara and how she has embraced all these fantastic opportunities. 👏👏

Raphoe Ulster-Scots Heritage Day!!

What a wonderful day The Force had at the Raphoe Ulster-Scots Agency Heritage Festival. It’s always a pleasure to be invited to participate in events like this whereby we can celebrate our talents and bring on and inspire our youth. 🎶🤩

Today we were asked to showcase the display which we did recently at the Ballymoney Tattoo, whereby Alan McBride sang ‘Never Enough’ from The Greatest Showman and the Drum Majors did a contemporary display alongside our other routines to the Lincoln Hilton sets.

Paula, Kathy, Louise and Alan gave time to teach at the workshop, whereby youngsters from the audience came for a lesson on how to be a Drum Major. Both teachers and participants done a superb job 🤩🥰

Raphoe Ulster-Scots Heritage Day Prep Work!!

Prep work is done and a few new faces to the team for this event. Welcome Louise Smiton, Drum Major, Hannah Todd, Tenor Drummer and welcome back Oliver Mcilwaine, Tenor Drummer.

We are looking forward to participating at the Raphoe Ulster-Scots Heritage Day Saturday 27th May 23. Looking forward to meeting up with a few of our Pipe Band friends also. 🎶🤩👌
