Question: How long have you been a Drum Major for?

Answer: I started lessons when I was 4 and then decided to compete when I was 10, but missed a few years in the Junior Grade due to COVID.

Question: What are your Drum Major achievements to date?

Answer: Winning the Juvenile Grade at the World Championships in 2025.

Question: Favourite memory on/off the park?

Answer:
On the Park:Taking part in the World Championship for the first time in 2025 and being announced as the winner.

Off the Park: Making new friends, taking part in the Tattoos and throwing the Mace as high as I can!

Question: What inspires you most?

Answer: Being one of the few male drum majors who stills competes and showing people that there is more to it than just leading a band.

Question: What does your hobby do for you?

Answer: Drum Majoring has opened doors to incredible experiences—from performing at World-Class International Tattoos to celebrating local traditions.

These moments have enriched my cultural perspective and helped me build friendships that will last a lifetime. I’m proud to represent and share the art of music wherever I go

Question: Words of inspiration you have never forgotten? If you have forgotten, some words of your own?

Answer: ‘If you are going to throw it, throw it high’ and ‘wing it’.

Question: Favourite International gig that you have been to and performed?

Answer: Nova Scotia International Tattoo was my favourite, but I was also privileged to take part in the Rotterdam Tattoo and the International Taptoe Belgium in 2025, both of which were enjoyable.

Question: Where would you like to perform?

Answer: Switzerland because I have heard so many good things about it, but also New Zealand or Australia.
