The youngest member of the Elite Drum Major team. Lydia started as a Drum Major in 2016 and is the current 2025 World, Scottish and European Junior Champion.

Question: How long have you been a drum major for?
Answer: I started leading band parades when I was 6 years old but didn’t start competitive Drum Majoring until I was 10 years old.

Question: What are your Drum Major achievements to date?
Answer: 1x Worlds, 1x Europeans, 1x Scottish and 2nd Place All Ireland at Junior level.

Question: Favourite memory on/off the park?
Answer:
On the Park: My first competition 
Off the Park: Catching my side throw on the march 🤣🤣

Question: What inspires you most?
Answer: All of the titles and achievements of the other Drum Majors in The Force really inspires me to aim for those levels.

Question: What does your hobby do for you?
Answer: It gives me great confidence and a sense of achievement when I can master different and difficult flourish’s and throws.

Question: Words of inspiration you have never forgotten? If you have forgotten, some words of your own?
Answer: Fail to prepare, is prepare to fail.

Question: Favourite International gig that you have been to and performed?
Answer: It would have to be Canada at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo.
