Ballymoney Burns Supper

What a fantastic evening at the Burns Supper Ballymoney. It’s an event I personally enjoy every year, all its acts and the local people not to mention the organisation by David and Heather. 🎶

Our team showcased two new displays, traditional 6/8 March and Bonnie Bonnie Banks. There was also a little audience participation and mini display, thanks to my trusted Drum Major tutor/life long friend Alan who had us in stitches. 🤩🙌👏

We welcomed Thea Kinley from Kathryn Stewart’s Highland Dancers and Display Team again, and welcomed Jasmyn Smyth CLRG Championship dancer for the Carroll School of Irish Dancing. These girls put on a show and a half with their Battle of the Dances and individual pieces.

Videos to follow as we are thankful to The Big Rab Show for recording the evening.

Filming Again!!

Long day of filming was had on 26th January with Triplevision Productions who spent the day learning all things Drum Majoring.
We can’t wait to share the finished product. Very cool!

The Mr & Mrs Patterson Force Wedding!!

Our team were invited to showcase a variety of displays to celebrate the marriage of Astra & Mark Patterson. The Bride picked a traditional theme as a surprise to Husband Mark, so Killaloe, Highland Cathedral, set of 6/8 marches, Black Bear and Scotland the Brave were the chosen tunes. This was supported by the fantastic Mark with a Drum Salute, Pipers Craig and David along with Oliver performing to Cabar Feidh. 🎶🎶

Belfast Tartan Day Dander 2024!!

Tartan Day Dander in Belfast City Centre. The Force led the Massed Pipes and Drums with some help from The Force Minis and some other Drum Majors from various classes. A great day, promoting our culture, art and ability! Thank you Ulster-Scots Agency!

Thanks as always to the parents and spectators who sent us pictures from the parade at the 2024 Belfast Tartan Day Dander. It’s great to see us all enjoying our day in photos! What a great event to showcase all the talent within Northern Ireland and promote our culture and heritage.

It was especially an honour for Paula to lead the Massed Pipes and Drums on the parade route alongside some of The Force Elite and Minis who were joined by other Drum Majors from classes across Northern Ireland. 🤝👌👏

Paula led the Massed Pipes and Drums into the back of City Hall, and as Senior Drum Major gave the commands to Salute the Chieftain, Colonel Mark Sheridan DL, Deputy Lord Lieutenant. This was followed by a tea and coffee reception in city hall for all the participants. Huge thanks to the organisation team at the Ulster-Scots Agency for making it a day for everyone to remember, especially the young children that were on parade!

As always it was lovely to catch up with our pipe band friends and fellow Drum Majors. 🤩🎶#BelfastTartanDay #BelfastCityCentre #TheForce #CityHall #TheForceMinis
